In 2002, a company called BTC, existing since 1970, was taken over by the owner of Nerta. BTC was and still is specialized in the construction of truckwash installations. The Silverstar is since the mid nineties a reference in truck-, bus-, tram- and trainwash installations.

Since the integration of BTC in the Nerta Group, some new machines were added to the portfolio.

In the beginning of 2004, the Goldstar was put on the market. This is a truck- and buswash machine which washes completely overlapping and is free of maintenance. It also has a chassis completely in stainless steel and has the same covering possibilities as the Silverstar.

Also in the beginning of 2004, BTC launched the Monoclean. This is a mono-brush installation to wash trucks and buses.

The first Jumbo Jet Wash was brought on the market in September 2004, this is a self-wash installation with 2 to 10 wash boxes.

In the beginning of 2005, the first Aqua-Hydro installation was put on the market. This is a biological water recuperation system.

As from 2011, BTC goes to the market as Nerta Technics, the machinery business unit of the Nerta Group.
